The 2013 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru was showing some reduction on the nose. The palate is very silky to the touch, the acidity well judged and full of energy, touches of orange sorbet infusing the black fruit toward the focused finish that lingers long in the mouth. This is a sensual Charmes-Chambertin to enjoy over the next couple of decades
