The blackcurrant, blackberry, balsam, and spice-scented 1995 Clos de la Roche has loads of cassis, blueberry, and black cherry fruit in its medium-to-full-bodied, super-concentrated character. At present it is painfully tannic and backward, yet its admirable fruit (so incredibly evident in its infancy) may well blossom in time to regain command of this offering. Projected maturity: 2007-2015.
