In July 2019 Cult Wines launched its Shanghai office with the aim to provide tasting services, collection advice and wine education to the rapidly growing Chinese market.
Headquartered in London, the Shanghai office is Cult Wines’ third overseas office. The other two offices are in Hong Kong and Singapore.
The Shanghai office has two full-time professional portfolio managers, who can offer services in English and Chinese.
Located in the buzzling Najing Road business district, Cult Wines’ Shanghai office has facilities for meetings, seminars and tastings. It can host events for a maximum of 50 guests.
Accompanying the launch of its Shanghai office, Cult Wines released a market report focusing on the Chinese market. Titled 2019 Fine Wine Investment Report, the report details the increasing demand and advantages of fine wine as a diversification option. Several Chinese and English language financial news outlets have picked up the report, including China Daily, The Asset and China News Shanghai.
To celebrate the opening of new office, Cult Wines Shanghai had hosted two launch parties with clients and corporate partners.
