Auction house Christie’s will offer a “spectacular” collection of Chateau Latour in London next month. The wines come directly from the collection of the First Growth’s former winemaker Denis Malbec, and will span 1863 to 2009, including the extremely rare Grapillons de Latour.
Also on sale will be ex-cellar Champagnes from Lanson and other fine wines. The Lanson to be offered includes a collection of vintages from 1976 to 1999, Clos Lanson 2006 and the 2002 Noble Cuvee Brut and Blanc de Blancs. Another large chunk of the sale will focus on an exceptional array of fine wines from a single owner consignment that includes Domaine de la Romanee-Conti, Chateau Le Pin, Dom Perignon, Cristal and Gaja.
The sale will take place from 28-29 November, and will be Christie’s largest sale of the year.
