Tasted at Pebbles/Zachy’s 1982 dinner in Hong Kong. As one would expect, this Pauillac has a very foursquare graphite scented nose with touches of bay leaf and decayed autumn leaves. It is nicely defined but lacking vigor. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp acidity. It is very conservative with a metallic tincture towards the finish. This has just turned the corner and is in gradual decline. Tasted November 2012.
