Pavillon Rouge du Chateau Margaux 2007
Tasting Notes Pavillon Rouge du Chateau Margaux 2007
Tasted blind at the 2007 Bordeaux horizontal in Southwold. There is little on the nose: touches of gravel and smoke but not much in the way of fruite. The palate is better with fine tannins, an attractive fleshy texture with good acidity. Harmonious and feminine towards the finish with dark cherries and a touch of cassis. It seems rather feral and earthy on the finish. Tasted January 2011.
