Patrick Thornton-Smith joined Cult Wines in May 2017 as Non-Executive Director and then Commercial Director in August having spent the previous 30 years in the financial markets specialising in listed and OTC derivatives. Patrick worked for Barclays Capital, ICAP and a range of fintech firms from start-ups, including his own for five years, to established vendors and spent a number of years living in the both Chicago and New York. His range of roles was wide and covered strategy, marketing, sales, operations and senior management positions. Prior to joining Cult Wines Patrick was Managing Director at Duco, a fintech vendor.

A family friend to the Gearings for over 20 years, his role as Commercial Director is to support the business in new areas of opportunity and is a member of the Global Management Team. Happy to have left the City, Patrick maintains close relationships with the Square Mile and beyond and is a Trustee of Futures For Kids Charity. A self-professed ‘consumer not expert’ in fine wine his tastes are broad but err towards white burgundy, with Domaine Leflavie a particular favourite and Pinot Noir, both old and new world varieties. He holds the WSET Level 2 award.

Outside fine wine Patrick, inevitably, has a great love of food and unlike most of the Cult Wines staff, he does not support any football team but is an avid fan of the oval ball game and is a Harlequins fan.

Aarash joined the team towards the end of 2009 at a junior level, having previously worked at the chartered accountants Landon Seamer. Aarash graduated from the University of Nottingham with a first class honours degree in Politics and his analytical skills were well received from day one. Aarash’s meticulous knowledge of the market has made him an invaluable component to our Market Analysis team, and he also plays a major role in securing stock alongside our Purchasing Team. As Global Sales Director his day-to-day role involves liaising with all new and existing clients as well as overseeing our entire sales team. His multi-lingual skills have helped develop our burgeoning overseas client base. Outside of work, Aarash is a keen football fan- an Arsenal season ticket holder and enthusiastic player himself. He is also fond of horse racing and partial to a cheeky flutter now and then. When it comes to wine, Aarash’s preferences are ever-changing, with a commitment to seeking out different and exciting producers and labels. Put a glass of something new in front of him and you have a happy man.

Gemma Gowers joined Cult Wines in January 2018 as Finance Director having spent the previous 10 years in the Leisure & Hospitality Industry. Gemma has held the position of Director of Finance for the AIM listed UK & Canadian travel group Travelzest plc before moving to the global hotel group Yotel Limited as Finance Director. She joins from The Light Cinemas Holdings Limited having been CFO. She brings extensive experience of the delivery of financial strategy in the fast growth SME sector. Gemma trained as a chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants for England & Wales.

Outside work if not in the gym or running, she can be found in the kitchen trying out recipes from her ever growing library of cookbooks. In addition she is an avid sports fan, with particular interest in cricket, football, rugby, F1 and tennis. She is an enthusiastic amateur in terms of her interest in wine, she holds WSET level 1 and her particular favourite is Pinot Noir but likes to be introduced to new wines especially when pairing wines with food.

Tom joined Cult Wines in the Summer of 2010. Having previously attained a RICS accredited surveying degree, Tom was drawn to the wine industry and joined Cult Wines to further develop this interest. With a detailed knowledge of fine wine through his family’s award winning winery Felton Road (Cornish Point), Tom has quickly established himself as a key member of the Cult team. In Spring 2012, Tom took the helm as Head of Buying, also heading up the burgeoning Retail and Trade Sales side of the business. Since handing over day to day buying responsibilities to our Purchasing Team in late 2015, Tom spent two years looking after our global trade sales customers before being formally appointed as Trading ∓ Purchasing Director in August 2017. Day to day, Tom continues to look after CW’s trade clients, while overseeing the Purchasing and Operations team. In his spare time, Tom enjoys watching and playing football, and indulges a strong passion for cars – easily his most expensive hobby. With an eclectic palate, Tom is just as happy with a new world Pinot (preferably Felton Road Block) as he is with a mature Claret, whilst remaining partial to something a little sweeter occasionally.

Having read Business at the University of Nottingham Marcus entered the City of London in 2008 working at Goldman Sachs and formerly the Royal Bank of Scotland Group. During his time within Investment Banking he built up a vast knowledge base across the board within the financial sector and an acute understanding of the economy. In January 2015 Marcus brought those skills to Cult Wines in order to build out the Agency side of the business, working with IFAs, Wealth Managers and Private Banks and their clients across Europe, the Middle East and Asia, helping them to achieve exposure to the Alternative Investment market and diversification from the financial sector. Outside of work Marcus is, similar to the rest of the office, an avid sports fan, playing rugby and golf whilst spending a lot of time at the weekend with a paint brush in hand as a beginner property developer. On the wine front Marcus naturally gravitates to Italian wines from Piedmont (Angelo Gaja a particular favourite) but is equally partial to the Pinots and Chablis of Burgundy.

Lukasz joined Cult Wines following a career spanning more than a decade in the hospitality industry. Whilst studying wine in Poland, Lukasz took the decision to pursue his career in one of the world's best restaurants, The Fat Duck in Bray, England. Following 7 successful years at The Fat Duck, where Lukasz honed his skills as a sommelier he joined Michelin starred restaurant Pollen Street Social as Head Sommelier, where he oversaw a wine list of 800 bins and a team of 7 sommeliers. This gave Lukasz the opportunity to cement his reputation as one of the finest sommeliers in the UK, his success in national competition coupled with earning his Court of Master Sommeliers Advanced certificate is testament to this. Lukasz’s role will see him oversee a number of key activities, including working closely with producers, arranging tastings, events, dinners and hosting masterclass events. He will also be using his contacts and knowledge base to further develop our on-trade sales, sourcing unique parcels of wines to develop and expand our retail sales offering. Lukasz will also be on hand to provide expert consultancy services to our growing worldwide client base. He will work with customers to help advise and build home wine cellars, evaluate and appraise existing collections. During his time in the restaurant industry, Lukasz has had the opportunity to taste an enviable back catalogue of the world’s greatest wines and will be sharing his personal tasting notes, reviews and recommendations on our blog throughout the course of the year.

Jonathan joined Cult Wines at the end of 2010 after graduating from Newcastle University with a degree in Marketing and Management. In the early part of his career at Cult Wines, Jonathan put his creative skillset to good use by implementing a number of new marketing strategies both internally and externally. Whilst still contributing to the upkeep and provision of market literature for the website, Jonathan began to show a desire for client contact of his own. He very quickly learnt his trade as a Portfolio Manager allowing him to liaise with new and existing clients in the development and maintenance of client portfolios. With a growing knowledge of the market and a natural rapport with his clients, Jonathan is now excelling in his current role of Senior Portfolio Manager. Driving new business through both personal sales as well as continuing to create new strategies and ideas, Jonathan is a valuable asset to Cult Wines. Outside the office, Jonathan follows almost any sport going with his particular favourites being football, cricket and golf. On the wine front, Jonathan has a penchant for the sweet stuff and so Sauternes is ever present in the wine fridge and when it comes to reds, something big and fruity fits the bill. He is, however, always the first to call for a cool lager after a hard days tasting in Bordeaux.

Daniel joined Cult Wines during the summer of 2013, having previously worked in a similar portfolio management position since 2010. Daniel’s career choice & route into the Fine Wine market was driven by his burgeoning interest in the alternative investment sector. The analytical & de-romanticized approach that Daniel brings to the team has proven to be immensely important when identifying trends and strategic positions within the market.

With over 7 years’ experience within the Fine Wine Investment market, Daniel has a real passion for managing clients financial objectives and expectations. Outside of the office, Daniel retreats to the green surroundings of his family home in Crowborough, East Sussex. With two young boys, weekends are largely dictated by outdoor activities in the forest with the odd round of golf, weather permitting.

With over 10 years’ experience in the industry he has a wealth of knowledge and his strength lies in building long term relationships with his clients. With a WSET advanced level 3 qualification he is happy to engage in a conversation on most of the world’s wine regions and whilst he has a particular fondness for Bordeaux, he does enjoy wines from all four corners of the world.

Yunbo joined Cult Wines in the summer of 2016 having completed two Master’s degrees in the UK, at the University of Sheffield and the University of Surrey respectively, studying management in the former and international hotel management at the latter. With great passion for wine, Yunbo further enhanced her wine knowledge by undertaking and completing levels 1-3 of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET), with the aim to finish her level 4 in the next two years. Before Yunbo moved to the UK, she worked for two and half years for a diverse range of organizations, including the ‘Industrial Bank’ (兴业银行) and a well-known fashion magazine in China ‘ViVi’(昕薇).During her time at the Industrial bank, Yunbo was responsible for international clients as a Sales Manager, and latterly worked as a fashion model for ViVi and other brands for commercial advertisements. Yunbo’s varied background in wine, finance and hospitality has provided the perfect foundation for her Portfolio Manager role at Cult Wines. With a positive personality, Chinese and English speaking, as well as a diversified background in different cultures, Yunbo provides professional advisory services to her customers helping both investors and wine lovers to choose the right wines, either for investing, collecting or drinking. Apart from being a fan of fine wine, with a strong preference for Burgundy, Yunbo is a big collector of Hermes handbags and designer shoes.

Jack joined the team in July 2018. Having graduated from the University of Leeds, he began his career at a well-known high street wine warehouse, before progressing to head up an auction house and wine website. He comes to us after a stint at a London brokerage, specialising in Champagne.

Jack is currently halfway through his studies for the WSET level 4 Diploma and owns a small vineyard on the West Berkshire Downs, so brings to the team a real depth of industry knowledge, having quite literally worked in every role from grape to glass. When not eating or drinking (which is seldom) Jack enjoys Shooting, Lacrosse and retreating to the family farm. His wine tastes are totally eclectic, but his cellar weighs heavily toward Bordeaux, Champagne, Italy and the USA.

Josh joined at the beginning of 2017 after 2 years at another London based wine investment company. Prior to that was 3 years’ experience managing client accounts for HNW’s and corporates within the luxury sports hospitality sector. His experience across a range of industries in account management has proved invaluable in our mission of ensuring transparency and satisfaction in our service. He was led into the wine investment industry by his keen interest in equity trading and finance combined with a burgeoning interest in wine as an investable alternative asset class. Josh has a passion for learning about new and disruptive technologies and continues to investigate the possible applications of Blockchain technology. Outside of this, his spare time is filled by his love for all sport – both playing and watching.

Tom joined Cult Wines in early 2018 having previously enjoyed a successful career in the oil industry and investment banking. Studying earth science at the University of Edinburgh and gaining a masters from Imperial College London, his love for wine however saw him re-direct his career last year in pursuit of the fine wine industry. Following a period on the shop floor whilst studying for his WSET level 3, Tom’s analytical mindset and passion for wine has been well received from day one.

Outside of work Tom enjoys spending time cycling up hills and skiing down them, and of course tasting wines from all over the word with a particular fondness for Riesling and Pinot Noir.

Joe joined Cult Wines after 4 years working in sales for GlaxoSmithKline and more recently Suntory food and beverages. He graduated from Newcastle University with a degree in Biology, but felt that pursuit of a career in the world of business would prove more rewarding. A good school friend of Tom’s, Joe has always had a keen interest in the development of Cult Wines. Having spent 3 years as one of the senior portfolio managers in London, he seized the opportunity to relocate to Hong Kong in order to oversee operations there. Outside the office, Joe sees himself as somewhat of a dab hand in the kitchen and South West London’s answer to Michel Roux. Joe’s bank manager isn’t too happy about it, but on the wine side of things he finds it difficult to ignore the overtures of white Burgundy. As is the case with most of the team, he also has a keen interest in Football and has an unwavering loyalty towards Arsene Wenger and his long standing tenure at Arsenal FC.

Carissa began her career in wine in 2008 at Enoteca as a fine wine sales manager for the HK & China market, opening 3 retail shops in HK and first shop in the IFC Shanghai. She then assume the role of Sales Director for Pillariwine. Her duties ranged from selling Bordeaux fine wines to managing agency wine brands; in the meantime she successfully completed WSET level ll and certificate for Wine Storage Management. During her 9 years in the wine industry Carissa has gained valuable fine wine investment experience working together with Asia's leading wine collectors as well as the opportunities to explore biodynamic and fine wines. She has also been on the judging panel for the China Wine and Spirits Board from 2013-2017.

Todd started his wine career in 2009 at one of the biggest Hong Kong wine retailers. After learning the basic of fine wine and successfully completed his WSET Level III, he joined Zachys Wine Auction and later Sothebys Wine Department. During his 6 years working at some of the world’s leading auction houses, he has gained valuable fine wine investment experience, and built up a network of some of Asia’s biggest collectors. He is a keen fine wine enthusiast, enjoying a wide range of wines from all over the world, however his personal favorite is Pinot Noir, especially the wines from Vosne Romanee.

Issac joined the Cult Wines HK team in the summer of 2016, with previous experience working in wealth management and as a protection manager in a market leading insurance company listed in Hong Kong. He graduated from The Open University of Hong Kong with an honours degree in accounting. Issac’s passion for wine began at university, and he has since developed a detailed understanding of the subject through plenty of reading, as well as attending many tasting sessions! Issac is very keen to continue being an integral part of the development of Cult Wines throughout Asia, and is a firm believer that fine wine should be enjoyed by all, not just the rich and famous. Outside of work, Issac enjoys watching NBA and spending time with his family and two dogs (aptly named Krug and Palmer). On the wine front, Issac is a big fan of Barolo and French wine especially those handpicked from Burgundy, Bordeaux and Champagne.

Stella graduated from The University of Hong Kong, majoring in Food and Nutritional Science. She has since spent the past 8 years working in the wine industry in HK and has also successfully completed WSET level III. Before joining Cult Wines in 2017, Stella was the Director of Client Services at Acker Merrall & Condit and accumulated invaluable wine knowledge. Her range of roles was wide and covered operations, marketing, business development, sales and senior management positions. Stella also represented Acker Merrall in 2013 at the Penfolds "Re-corking Clinic" event in Shanghai and Singapore where she provided auction and investment advice to Penfold's clients – an estate she is particularly fond of!

Outside of work, Stella loves travelling, particularly to wineries, and has been to France, Italy, Switzerland, Australia and Thailand to study the wine making method in each region. In 2009, before she joined the wine industry, she pursued her dream and took part in Working Holiday scheme and spent a year in Australia touring around. When It comes to wine, Burgundy is never far from her thoughts, however being able to try wines from all over the world is a hugely enjoyable part of the job.

Katrina holds a MPhil RICS accredited degree in University of Cambridge, as well as a BSc degree in London School of Economics (LSE). Prior joining Cult Wines in the summer of 2018, Katrina was a Global Macro Strategist in J.P. Morgan Asset Management in London where she had also attained her CFA level III. Katrina’s passion in wine stemmed from her time in UK, she ceased every opportunity to travel to different wine regions Europe to expand her wine knowledge, she then successfully completed her WSET level III in 2017.

Outside of work, Katrina is especially fond of wakeboarding and snowboarding throughout her summers and winters. When it comes to wines, she finds her passion in visiting small wineries all over the world especially those with great qualities, passions and stories that can be felt in the glass. Katrina is also a strong believer in food and wine pairing, as she previously invested some time at Le Cordon Bleu London. Katrina’s love of wine lies mainly between Italian wines from Piedmont and Tuscany, as well as Vosne Romanee from Burgundy.

Dan joined the team in August 2018 to focus on the Mainland China market. Dan first become fascinated with China at 16 years old when he briefly studied Kung fu. This interest later compelled him to earn a BA in China Studies. During his college studies Dan worked part-time as a bartender, where a generous customer once offered him a glass of 1990 Sassicaia, forever changing his life. He then obsessively studied wine, and was quickly promoted to sommelier. Two years later, his wine list was awarded as one of the five “Best New Wine Lists” in the US by Food & Wine Magazine. In 1999 Dan moved to Beijing to work with an environmental NGO during the day and as China’s first sommelier in the evening. Since 2003 Dan has worked as Area Director for two of China’s largest wine importer/distributors. During this time he also completed market research projects for several organizations and government bodies, including Wine Intelligence and ICEX.

Dan hold advanced certifications from WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, and the Society of Wine Educators. He also has a MSc in Economics and Business Administration from NHH Norwegian School of Economics. Dan is a passionate about wine, and can be most often found laughing and chatting with friends at blind wine dinners. He loves wines from the great producers in every country and every region, with a preference for aged wines. Focused on health and well-being, he enjoys morning yoga and meditation.

Sam joined the Cult Wines team in the Summer of 2013, having previously been working as a Portfolio Manager for a competitor. He holds a BSc in Property Agency and Marketing and achieved a Distinction in an additional wine industry module. In October 2013, he was awarded the title of Ecuyer in the Confrerie des Compagnons Goustevin de Normandie and has more recently been asked to reform the London chapter that has been dormant for almost two decades. With over five years under his belt as Senior Portfolio Manager in the London HQ, the offer to move to Singapore in 2018 to set up and manage the new office was hard to pass on. Taking pride in being the only chap in the office with little interest in Football; he instead focuses his attention on “proper sports” such as Rugby, Shooting, and Skiing; and takes general well-being and fitness seriously. When it comes to wine, Sam’s finds it hard to pass on a good Brunello but as he spends much of his spare time in London and Singapore’s top restaurants and wine bars, he’s equally happy taking guidance from Sommeliers on their recent discoveries.

Having watched Cult Wines from a distance since 2015, at hearing news of our Singapore venture Nicolas seized the opportunity of joining us in September 2018 as South East Asia Associate Sales Director, moving away from his four-year posting as Le Club FICOFI Advisor in Singapore, looking after 40+ UHNW Members of the world’s most exclusive wine club, by invite only. There he developed an impressive and extensive knowledge of investment-grade wines through regular events held for clients, and in sourcing them the finest and rarest wines produced anywhere in the world. Prior to that, he spent a combined two years and a half at Wine Connection in Singapore, and Bureau Stephane Fouquet in Bordeaux, as a Wine Speaker and Wine Broker respectively. He holds a Master’s Degree in International Business from KEDGE Business School in Bordeaux, and in 2015 he achieved his WSET Level 3 with Merit. When he does not practice tennis, golf and running, his interests include contemporary art, (fine) dining, cigars, whisky, timepieces, vinyls, and travelling the world. When in Singapore, he likes to mingle with other members of Straits Clan and FrenchFounders. Coming back to wines, and aside from work, Nicolas is driven by his curiosity, and he loves to share bottles (ideally magnums!) from the Beaujolais, Jura and Loire Valley regions, as well as of the new wave of quaffable Californians and Australians.

Cris joins us as a Senior Portfolio Manager from Berry Bros. & Rudd. Having spent six years in their Singapore office since its inception in 2012, first as Fine Wine Sales Consultant and for the last two-and-a-half years as Singapore Manager. Being part of the initial team when BB&R first set up in Singapore will certainly add invaluable experience in getting Cult Wines to full speed as quickly as possible. Prior to joining Berry Bros. & Rudd in 2012, Cris has also spent time as an Account Manager specialising in the on-trade wine business. She was the first recipient within the wine trade to be presented the industrial NTUC May Day Partnership Award. Along the way, she has picked up the Torres Wine Scholarship - Award of Excellence; Western Australia Wine Scholarship – Wine Craft Marketing; Certified Specialist of Wine AND French Wine Scholar; WSET level 3 with distinctions in both theory and practical, amongst many other accolades. Cris is also an adrenaline junkie, who enjoys cycling and scuba diving, she trains and races competitively in outrigger canoeing and dragon boat racing locally and overseas.

Ivy Lim joins the pioneer Cult Wines Singapore team with already over a decade’s worth of experience in the wine industry, most recently spending 4 years as a Fine Wine Sales Consultant at Berry Bros. & Rudd in Singapore and Malaysia. She holds an Honours degree in Business Administration and WSET level 2, with plans to complete level 3 next year. Ivy considers herself a bit of an adventurer, spending as much of her spare time travelling as possible. When it comes to wine, she loves to try various styles depending on the food, mood, and especially company!

Born and raised on a vineyard in Bordeaux, Christopher begun his career in the wine industry at a very young age. With a degree in Viticulture and Oenology from Blanquefort (near Bordeaux), he decided to expand his knowledge of the wine world by moving to London in 2005. Christopher has held numerous roles in the wine industry. Starting his career at Oddbins as a wine advisor, he quickly moved to Bordeaux Index one of the leading UK fine wine merchants to broaden his knowledge of the supply chain. First coordinating logistics, he then became a buyer and he held this position for the next 6 years. With over 10 years’ experiences, Christopher has now joined Cult Wines since June 2015. Happy take Cult Wines to its next growing phase by increasing its data base of suppliers, helping to implement a robust logistical platform and continuing to build strong relationship with Bordeaux. Christopher is an epicurean and an eco-warrior he is always looking for the next good meal and have introduced some recycling initiatives in the office. Outside work he likes to cook and discover new restaurants.

Hermione joined Cult Wines in October 2014 and took on the role of buyer in January 2015. She is now in charge of discovering new European Suppliers and finding new investment style wines. After leaving Nottingham University with a degree in Philosophy, Hermione worked for 3 years as a PA during which time she studied for the WSET exams. With an appetite for learning, Hermione is embarking on the WSET Diploma which she will start in January 2016. In her free time, Hermione enjoys keeping up with culture and can regularly be found at new exhibitions. Depending on her mood, Hermione is partial to a good Burgundy.

Luke joined Cult Wines in March 2017. His initial foray into the wine world was as a bikeboy delivering to the great and good of Chelsea, eventually helping run the merchant’s flagship store. Over the years he has held various roles in the trade covering shop sales, logistics, broking and happily now buying for Cult Wines. Out of work Luke enjoys being with his family despite being a sometime practice dummy for his sons’ Tae Kwondo skills. For vinous pleasure Luke enjoys whatever pairs best with the Sunday lunch he’ll be having.

Maud joined the wine industry in 2007 after she graduated with a Master’s degree in Wine Trade. Maud has over 8 years combined experience in logistics and procurement both in France and Australia. Maud joined Cult Wines in September 2015 having moved from Paris and is in charge of looking after the Logistical Operations. Outside of work Maud enjoys spending time with her family and whenever she has a free moment she will be reading a book whether it is a novel or a cook book. Maud has an extensive wine fridge full of French treasures with her favourite being Burgundy.

After moving to London to further her career opportunities Helene joined Cult wines and is currently working as Logistics Manager for the organisation. Helene has a keen interest in wine and is qualified as a junior sommelier by the Estonian Sommelier Association. Côtes du Rhône reds are particular favourites of hers

Jody has been involved with Cult Wines, undertaking design and marketing projects since the company’s first website back in 2008, although until recent years only as a freelance position. In July 2015 Jody was offered a permanent position as Digital Marketing Manager at Cult Wines’ Richmond offices, where he oversaw their web and graphic design projects, website marketing operations and social network promotion. Since Jody joined Cult Wines in a full-time capacity, the company has continued to grow both as a company and by number of staff members. In August 2017 Jody was promoted to Head of Marketing where he heads the Cult Wines Marketing Department for both UK and Hong Kong in their new Head Office in London W6. Outside of the working day, Jody enjoys listening to and also making various styles of modern music. He is also partial to the occasional visit to the theatre or a good comedy club. Jody has learned a great deal about fine wine during his time working with the company, his favourite wine is Pontet Canet and has built up quite the collection over recent years.

Hailing from New Zealand, Joe joined the Cult Wines team in the second half of 2017 as the Digital Marketing Manager. After graduating in 2014 with a degree in Broadcast Communications, Joe pursued his interest in the Digital Marketing field. Joe began refining a skillset across Video Production, Web and Graphic Design, Content Creation, Emerging Technologies and most importantly Digital Marketing & Strategy. Joe enjoys seeing the results of fusing creative vision with a refined strategy. Joe's previous roles have seen him work in a diverse range of environments including Healthcare, Education and Local Economic Development.

Outside of work, Joe loves to travel and makes the most of having Europe on our doorstep. When it comes to wine, an Australian Red ticks all the boxes.

Kelly joined Cult Wines in June 2018 to manage the company’s online presence and marketing initiatives in Asia. After studying international relations in the London School of Economics and Peking University, Kelly worked in academia and politics for four years. Wanting to reach a broader audience, she then moved on to social media marketing and worked in an artificial intelligence startup that focused on giving global brands bespoke localised content strategies and audience insights. Outside of work Kelly likes traveling, hiking, drawing using her Wacom tablet and learning new things.

Lena joined Cult Wines in early 2018 having previously completed several internships in the finance industry, including in a venture capital fund and the Investment Banking arm of China Securities, as well as passing her CFA level II qualifications. The experience in the investment industry combined with her passion for fine wine enables her to view this market with a fresh and unique perspective. In turn, this positions her unequivocally capable of identifying opportunities and risks in this complex market, using quantitative and scientific economic methods.

She graduated from the University of Toronto with bachelor degree specializing in finance and economics, and she has successfully passed the CFA level II exam. She is also pursuing the WSET level 3 designation. Outside of work, she loves exploring new gastronomical experience. On the wine front, Yijun has a passion for the wines of Germany, Bordeaux and especially Champagne.

Before Taryn moved to the UK she worked for Riedel Australia (though is a proud New Zealander!) where she extended her interest in the wine industry beyond just consumption. Taryn manages all of Cult Wines events and does her best to keep track of the management team. In her spare time, Taryn is completing a CIM Diploma in Marketing and loves to travel. She is partial to a White Burgundy served in a Riedel glass, of course!

Rheanne joined Cult Wines in August 2018, having previously worked in the Finance/Pension’s industry for 10 years. She was looking for the next step in her career and decided that the Fine Wine investment industry was a step in the right direction being able to combine her interest in wine with her skills picked up from the finance industry. Rheanne assists our Events Manager/Executive Assistant on the day to day running of the office and events.

Outside of work Rheanne is a keen runner and has completed the London Marathon. Since joining Cult Wines she has found a new love of Bordeaux wines.
