Bahans Haut Brion 2002
Tasting Notes Bahans Haut Brion 2002
dark ruby color is followed by earthy, smoky, cherry, mulberry, and currant aromas in this light to medium-bodied Bahans. Slightly spicy and austere, with a clean, pure finish, it should be consumed over the next 4-5 years.
Tasted blind at Farr's 2002 Bordeaux tasting. This comes across as very severe and almost dour on the nose. Overtly leafy. Medium-bodied with leafy, herbaceous raspberry and strawberry with a thread of dried citrus fruit poking out on the austere finish. Tasted October 2009.
