Le Pin 2007
Tasting Notes Le Pin 2007
Tasted blind at the 2007 Bordeaux horizontal in Southwold. The Le Pin 2007 has a very pure bouquet with cassis, bilberry, blueberry and crushed stone all with superb delineation, but tightly wound at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, lovely caressing texture with seamless tannins, velvety smooth dark cherry and cassis on the finish with filigree tannins. What a lovely, typically seductive Pomerol from Jacques T. Tasted January 2011.
This elegant, fruity, slightly herbal Pomerol reveals a light style as well as mocha-infused, caramelized strawberry and black cherry fruit, medium body, and a soft style. It is best consumed over the next 7-8 years.
